A career in computational physics can lead in many directions. You might work as a computational scientist developing simulations for energy, climate, or materials research; a data scientist or quantitative analyst applying physics-based modelling to finance or technology; or a software engineer improving high-performance computing systems. Many also pursue research roles in universities or labs such as CERN or Airbus. It’s a versatile field where physics, mathematics, and computing come together to solve complex real-world problems.
