It is a very useful set of tools. I’ve worked in developing AI tools, and I often teach statistical methods which are the basis of AI tools. I don’t really see a difference between “AI” and “non AI” statistical tools. For both, it is important to understand how it works, and what data it is based on.
AI can be a super useful tool. I use it to create images for me (for example to use in presentations), and to compare data or documents. It can save me hours of analysis. I think it’s really helpful to learn how to use AI properly, but its more important to know how to do those things for yourself too. For example report writing or statistical analysis is a skill, and you need to know how to do it yourself before using AI to speed it up.
