      It depends on how the system is designed and how it interacts with the environment, whether its effects are direct or indirect. Since artificial intelligence is still in an early stage of development, it’s difficult to predict its long-term impact with certainty.

      What I can say is that any technology has the potential to be harmful if it’s created or used in ways that allow for misuse or unintended consequences. Hence the need for safeguards.
