      I am holding 17 years of experience in IT Company.Currently I am working in Chicago Mercentile Exchange my office is based in belfast , i joined team as Quality assurance Lead my role and resposiblites was manage the entire testing process, from defining strategy and planning tests to leading the team, mentoring junior testers, ensuring quality standards, and reporting to stakeholders, focusing on risk management, automation, and continuous improvement while acting as the main point of contact for all quality-related issues

       

      Last year i move to Lead Scrum Master role and now i am   a servant-leader who facilitates the Scrum process, coaches the team on Agile principles, removes impediments, and protects the team from distractions to ensure effective, self-managing teams deliver high-quality products, focusing on collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to Scrum values. I lead ceremonies like planning, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives, working closely with Product Owners and developers.

    • How does my work involve computers?:

      • Work Management and Tracking Scrum Masters frequently use project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Monday) to manage the scrum board, track the team’s progress, and ensure that work items and backlogs are up to date.
      • Communication and Collaboration They use various communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) to foster transparent and efficient communication within the team and with stakeholders. This includes using video conferencing for meetings and chat for daily interactions.
      • Meeting Facilitation and Automation Computers are vital for organizing and facilitating Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective). Tools with AI integration can help generate meeting agendas, take notes, transcribe discussions, and track action items, allowing the Scrum Master and team members to focus on the conversation.
      • Data Analysis and Reporting Scrum Masters use computer software, sometimes integrating with tools like Microsoft Power BI or built-in analytics, to monitor team velocity, track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data for trends, and generate reports. These insights help identify impediments and opportunities for workflow improvement.

      My typical day involves facilitating Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review, Retro), removing team obstacles (impediments), coaching the team on Scrum principles, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring continuous improvement, all while adapting to the current phase of the sprint (planning, execution, or review). It’s a mix of meetings, problem-solving, mentoring, and observation, with tasks varying from Jira board updates to high-level organizational alignment.

      Despite being an average performer during my primary education in India, my path shifted dramatically upon selecting Mathematics and Physics as my core subjects. I then completed my Bachelor of Engineering degree. My diligence paid off when I was successfully placed in a premier Indian IT company, which marked the beginning of my professional success
